I found this one very interesting.
Minimalism
The typography was based on a poem that, when recited made one think about the words chosen for the expression. Combined with the typography and the simple creativity, this piece was extremely well done and thought provoking. The piece looked as though it had been worked on for a while, but was simple in its grandeur, almost expanding on the simplicity of the piece that was being recited.
Stupendous find, Cat! I have a lot to say about this very, very impressive find and may do so in our next class. I enjoy the story, I enjoy the effects, I enjoy the creative fable-like narrative that is simply told and rife with meaning. It does seem to be a classic tale that has been brought forward, modernized. Consider how this particular piece will affect the students you will one day be teaching as it can be interpreted so widely. Nice work Cat.

ReplyDeleteI found it interesting. At first I was a little sad that it was as plain as it was but when I got to the end I realized that the person doing the typography was trying to get accross the same message as the author of the poem. I liked how the poet was trying to get accross that something so simple can become so much.
